As I loaded my last bag into the car, I looked back at my beloved home. Well house it's not officially mine, but still. I was happy yet terrified when I got the news of me getting this opportunity. Oh wait .... here I am telling you nonsense when you don't even know me.
My name's Jade and I am an African American teenager . I'm 17 years old and I just got the chance to fulfill my dreams. You see I love to sing and dance, and I post YouTube videos of me doing so. I guess some big company saw those videos and liked it, so now I'm going to South Korea to meet him.
If you're wondering where my parents are and why they're letting me do this, they're gone and not gone as in dead but gone as in I have no idea where they are. But it's okay because I don't really know who they are, they've been gone all my life. But anyway let's get on with my story. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm glad I dressed comfy, my flight is 13 hours long. How can anyone sit through a flight that long.

"Excuse me miss would you like anything to drink or eat?" The flight attendant asked kindly. "Um... Yes I would, may I have a bottle of water please?" I asked her. "Yes, here you go, miss." She said as she handed me my water. "Thank you" I said. "No problem, please enjoy the rest of your flight." She said as she walked off to attend someone else.
This is going to be a long ride... I thought to myself. I put my headphones on and slowly drifted off to sleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Miss, excuse me miss. It's time to get off the plane now." The flight attendant told me. As I looked around I saw everyone getting there bags. "Oh, thank you." I said to her standing to get my bag. "You're welcome", she said to me.
As I got my last bag from the overhead compartment I thought about what I was about to do. This is my time to fulfil my biggest dream.
" Korea here I come"
