You never truly know
How lucky you really are
Until its gone in a flash
He was hardly 18
Still a child
But on the inside
Facing more than most
He kept a smile
Never left
Stayed strong even
When the world came crashing
Down
You could never know
How much he really hurt
Until that dreadful night
"my dads dead."
Was all it took
For her to know the pain
How?
Was the question she asked
She soon got her answer
When she saw him on news
The tears flowed
And she tried her best
To honor him with everything she does
But now he's gone
And now her world
Is crashing down
