Everyday I keep asking myself,
Questions that ran through my head,
If I'm 'her' would you love me more than anything?
Hoping, that you'll see,
That I'm here, right beside you,
And not 'her', that you always follow like a lost puppy.
You always said,
That you love me too,
But I want it to be more than just brotherly love.
All I wanted was to be your beloved,
Your Lover and not just your 'girl best friend'.
Am I asking too much from you?
But now,
I'm starting to accept it,
That I'll be JUST your best friend.
That one day,
You'll realize it,
That you should have loved me.
