Chapter 25

*Umi's POV*

"Hey Umi, Kiba's here." Yuki called from the living room and I ran to the door.

"Hey Umi." He grinned while pulling me into a kiss.

"Get a room!" Ryuua threw a pillow at us and I rolled my eyes. She was still pretty down about the whole Takeshi thing even though it had been a week since it happened.

She's left the house once and that was for the hokages funeral which was yesterday.

"Earth to Umi?!" Kiba waved his hand in from my of my face and I blinked.

"Sorry, anyway let's go." I grabbed his hand and we left the house.

We walked through the streets until we reached a clearing. We just sat on the grass and I leaned my head against his shoulder.

"Hey Umi?" He spoke up after a while.

"Yeah?"

"I... I think I love you..." He blushed a little and I just smiled brightly while kissing him.

"I love you too." I said when we broke apart. He smiled before leaning in again. We shared a long and passionate kiss. He smiled into the kiss and I giggled.

When we pulled away he just hugged me tightly. Just as he leaned in again akamaru barked from atop Kiba's head. I laughed at the little pup and Kiba rolled his eyes.

"He told us to get a room." He sighed and I giggled again.

"That's why Him and Yuki get along so well." Me and Kiba laughed before I leaned my head back on his shoulder.

*Gaara's POV*

1 week had passed and we had decided to go back to village early. We had arrived at the gates and been escorted to where we would be staying for the week.

"When can we go out?" I asked impatiently.

"You can go now if you want, we'll check into the hotel if you'd like?" Temari smiled and I nodded gratefully at her.

I turned around and made my way around for the village. I was looking for Yuki and I'm not going to deny it. I'd been looking for around 30 minutes before I ran into naruto.

We ended up going for ramen, he paid so I didn't really complain. We caught up about what had happened since the exams.

Once we left the ramen place the sun was setting and I sighed.

"Guess I never got to see Yuki yet." I mumbled before realising I had arrived at the training grounds. "When the hell did I get here?" I looked around in surprise.

"Ya know, your turning into me Gaara chan." I familiar voice giggled. I turned around to see Yuki hanging upside down in a tree. Her hair and tail were swaying in the wind as she laughed at my expression.

"You look like I'm a ghost." She backflipped out of the tree and landed in a crouch position.

"Well when you see a girl with cat
ears and a tail hanging upside down in a tree, it doesn't exactly scream normal" I smirked and she rolled her eyes while patting the spot next to her on the grass.

"So how are things?" She asked flattening her hair down.

"They're fine back in Suna but how are things with you?" I asked while sitting down next to her.
