drifting on the river, pebbles, We are
two souls chasing each other in this life
We live as if We are the morning star
covered from this rage, We escape our strife.
We lie here, the sun watching over us.
eyes of autumn and bark, i see my soul
reflected in them, you see my all. thus
i trust you with my angst, dark nightly coal
in return, you show me your fear, i see
that We are indeed two halves of one sun
but i am me as you are you, we're free
to be you and me and We, our loved one.
We are one star that shines in the daylight
We live on even in the dark of the night
