He said he's still trying.
He said he still cares.
He said he's still in love,
But my love doesn't live there.
He's paying on a ring.
That should make my heart sing.
But eventually it's not.
I still feel like there's something missing.
So let me be clear...
I love him,
But I'm not in love.
And a ring won't make me fall back in.
Love comes with honor.
Marriage is a forever committment.
I'm not sure he's the man I need;
Better yet want him to be.
I will not settle.
I can not settle.
I am so close, right there.
But I'm not sure that he is my forever.
He's still trying.
He's still fighting,
And so am I.
I'm fighting for a piece of mind.
And he can try, but he needs to try harder.
There are others applying for the position as well.
Only time will tell... But me, I'm not settling for a ...
