Okay, if you've been through this, I feel you right now. I've never hurt so much. But you will get through it. Life is Tough and it all starts with a broken heart. Psalm 34:17-18 "The righteous cry out and the lord hears them; He delivers them from all of their troubles. The lord is close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit." God listens to you, god loves you, and god wants to be with you. He keeps his promises and will always love you. Don't let some idiot boy/girl get you down. One day he/she is going to see what a beautiful, kind, and loving person he/she let go, and he/she will regret every moment of that break up. Jesus loves us, he died on the cross for us, so that we won't have to pay for our sins. Christ our lord would never, not love us, and he will never let us down. Your ex chose that path, you didn't, He/she is going to wish they chose the other way. This is my advice to you. "Don't chase other people. Work hard and be yourself. Under these two principles, the right people will find their way into your life. If someone wants to be with you, and they truly love you, they will work to be in your life.
