Letitia POV
Today was the day. 19th of May. The day the Summer Split finally started again. Finally more League to watch. But this time with me live in the Studios with Quinn. I was standing in front of my mirror and brushing my long dirty blonde, curly hair. I decided to let it fall openly today. I put my "Support Carry" T-Shirt from the Fnatic 2014 collection on and smiled. I was confident that this day was going to be super funny. I took my black handbag, put my purse and my ticket in it and then went outside in the hallway and locked my door. I looked to the side and saw Quinn coming towards me. Perfect timing. She was wearing her Fnatic Jersey. Her natural red hair were also open like mine and her eyes were already shining at me. "Hey", I smiled at her: "Already excited?" "What do you mean excited? I am fucking thrilling", she jumped up and down.
Since our dorm was only about 10 minutes per foot away from the Studios, we didn't have to leave too early. It was about 4:20 PM when we left. The sun was still shining really brightly and it was getting warmer and warmer with every day. "Do you have your ticket?", I asked her, just to make sure. Quinn nodded: "Don't worry. I won't forget that one. Ever." "Good", I smiled: "Oh, I hope we find the way to the Studios. It looks really complicated." I looked at Google Maps on my phone and pointed in a direction.
About 10 minutes later we arrived at two large buildings. One was really high and had League graffiti on it, while the other one looked more like the backstage area of the pro players. In front of the smaller building was a car on which was written "Andre's Catering", so now we were sure that this was the backstage area. In front of the large building was already a fairly long queue. A lot of people in Fnatic T-Shirts, some in Origen. Many people were already holding up their posters. "Wow, look how many people are rooting for Fnatic", Quinn grinned: "But why is this dude wearing a Unicorn T-Shirt? Is he sick or something like that?" I rolled my eyes: "Probably. Fucking Unicorns." "Fucking Unicorns", Quinn murmured too.
We arrived at the back of the queue and heard the people in front of us talking French. So many people from so many different countries were here just to see some League live. "Open the gates!", Quinn screamed and we both started laughing. Shortly before it was finally 5 PM, a guy with a camera crew came outside and started screaming: "Hello Summoners! I welcome you to the first day of the EU LCS Summer Split! Who's hyped?" Everybody started making noise, just like us. "Great! But before you can enter the Studios, we want to take some scenes with you. So, I want you all to be as loud as possible on three, okay? One! Two! Three!", the guy screamed and we all started making some noise again.
Then we were finally able to get inside the building. The entrance hall, or more like, room, it wasn't really a hall, was already super awesome. It had a cloakroom, a little merch shop, a wall with little EU LCS logos on it and a food stand. A girl scanned our tickets and we got blue ribbons around our wrists, on which was the date written. "Let's go inside?", I asked and was already so excited to finally see the place where we would sit and watch the pro players. We went by the food stand and into a hallway, where a lady checked our ribbons once again. Then we already saw the computers. Everything was shining there. In front of the computers and a huge screen, was a stand for us spectators. It was huge. About 200-300 people could sit there. "Fnatic is playing blue side, so let's sit there?", I pointed at the right side. "Yeah sure", Quinn said, but couldn't stop looking at the poster that were hanging on the walls.
After we sat down, I examined them too. It showed some teams. One was Fnatic winning the Spring Split 2015. One was Fnatic winning the Summer Split 2015. One was with Origen. One with the old H2K. One was just the League crowd at the Worlds. And one was with Alliance winning Summer Split 2014. It was amazing. Even the smell was so distinct. I automatically loved it here. We were sitting in the second row, cause the first row was already occupied by a group of boys. I looked at the screen and there was the schedule for today and a countdown. First game G2 vs Origen, since these two were in the Finals last Split. The countdown said 48:23. So long until the games would finally have started.
