Chapter 14

Tremaine Pov

I watched Adrienne in surgery.She had like 6 injuries and her heart rate was low so the only way to save the twins was an emergency C-Section.

"Trey you should go get some sleep."Bully told me

I shook my head."Im not leaving them."

He patted my back and went to sit down.I stood at the window.I wasn't allowed in the room.

I watched them take one of my baby girl's out of her stomach.She looked so small.I sighed.

NEXT DAY

Adrienne's family and my Mumma made their way to Houston to see her.She's in a coma but our babygirls are holding on.

"Oh Tremaine come here."My mumma said and brought me into a hug

Before I knew it the tears we're falling.I could lose it all right here in this hospital.

"They're gonna be fine baby.God's gonna work it out."She said

Adrienne's parents were distant and I knew that was my fault.They didn't wanna really be around me.

The doctor came out.

"Adrienne Phillips?"

I nodded and stood.

"She's responding to pinches so she should be up very soon maybe a few hours."She said

"What about the twins?"I asked

"They are doing okay.We have them in incubators that mimic a womb and should help with their growth.But baby B isn't responding to our heart monitors very well.She is breathing but her heart rate is extremely low."She finished

I nodded."Thank you"

Aaliyah came running through the doors.

"Where is she?!!"She asked

"Surgery."I stated

"Don't talk to me.You're such a piece of shit Trey!!"She yelled

I sighed.

"How dare you do this to my sister!!"

"Im sorry.Just calm down."I said

"Shut the fuck up!"She hit me

My mumma shook her head.

"Aaliyah stop it!"Her mother said

She took a deep breath and sat down.Soon enough she was sobbing.

"Liyah come here princess."Her dad said and held her

HOURS LATER

Adrienne

I heard little cries."Mommy!!Mommy!!"

All i could see was a bright, white light nothing else.

Then two little girls emerged and ran up to me.

"Oh my god."I mumbled

"Mommy help us."One of them said

"I will baby."

"We love you."They said

"I love you too."I said

Tremaine

I sat next to Adrienne's bed then her eyes fluttered open.She tried to breathe in but she had on an air mask.I took it off of her.

"Baby -

"Where are they?"She cut me off

"They're in a room a few doors down."I said

"Are they okay?"She asked
