The Aligning

"SOUND THE HORN OF GENERATIONS," and just like that the horn sounded marking the new generation. Every one gathered around the table Caitlyn and Merlin talking about video games (royals still have their free time there not robots), while Devon and Emily chat over delicious nebulian tea and scrumptious macaroons from the moon clan.  "It is time we discuss about the new generation," said Devon sipping on his tea whilst Caitlyn moaned "Why can't we come to one agreement and never have to come here again," Emily slammed her fists against the table "Excuse me but a queen like you should be proud of the star alliance," Caitlyn slowly rose from her chair "Excuse me but I am proud of the alliance but why do we have to come here every 300 years to discuss new laws why can't we keep them the same," Caitlyn nearly shouted shaking Merlins cup of tea. "Onward to the new forces we'll settle arguments later". Caitlyn was gawking at Emily in tell she had enough "Who are you starring at," Caitlyn was silent for a moment and said "I don't know still trying to figure out," with that a rage grew inside Emily "What kind of queen are you," Caitlyn had a sudden snap of anger "I am a queen that has full control of her kingdom and I take care of my peasants and bring peace unlike you, a queen who probably Is too over ruling and probably has her peasants on lock down," with that Emily threw her tea at Caitlyn. Caitlyn was outraged and swung the tray of macaroons at Emily's face. Devon finally got up and kicked Caitlyn out of the room. "Hey you just can't do that we all have to stick together in this," Merlin protested
"She is not allowed to come back in tell the ball later on tonight," with that Merlin got up and ran out of the room. As Caitlyn walked down the hall she heard footsteps, as the footsteps got closer Caitlyn got frightened and kicked the stranger in the face. "Ow, what was that for," Merlin said rubbing his cheek. "Oh Merlin, I'm so sorry," Merlin looked down at Caitlyns feet "Your not wearing shoes," Caitlyn was super embarrassed, "um...yea...I guess". Merlin chuckled and bite his lip "Hey you wanna go to the ball with me tonight," he said looking down at his shoes. Caitlyn was shocked to hear him say that, "Why of course, Merlin," she kissed his cheek and left Merlin there blushing and stunned but mostly blushing.
