New School New People

*annoying alarm*
6:45 am. I wake up but not get up. I go on instagram just scrolling down my feed. I have no idea why that makes me stay awake but it does. I get up ten minutes later and head to my restroom. I brush my teeth and hair. After that I put my black skinny jeans and my dark grey sweater. I put on mascara and lip balm.

"Come get breakfast!" Mom yelled from the kitchen.

"Coming!" My sister and I say at the same time.

I quickly put my all black vans and head downstairs.

"Do I have to go?" Eva complains about school.

"Yes, now come on eat up so you won't be late." Mom replies.

"Stop whining it's not like we've never been new." I say as I sit at the table with a pancake I'm front of me.

"True, true."

* 10 min. later *

"Let's go already!" Mom says very excitingly.

"Okay." We both say with our frowns.

I head upstairs to get my book bag and phone, along with my earphones.

"Madison!" Eva yells from the car.

I run downstairs, lock the door and head inside the car.

"Why are you always making us late?" Eva asks.

"Geez, are you on your rag? It's only 7:45. First period starts at 8:10."

"Shut up! No I'm not." She says with embarrassment.

"Okay, okay."  I laugh.

* skip car ride *

"Hmm, 'Willings Fresno High School'. Catchy." I say as I read the sign.

"Alright ladies, here it is. Call me if anything. Don't miss class, don't be rude, and most of all don't answer so many questions from strangers." Mom says.

"Okay."

"Kay."

"Bye mom."

"Bye."

* bell rings *

"I guess this is it. Another shitty school. Ugh." I say.

"Yup, wanna go late? I'd like to make a big entrance." Eva says with a cheesy smile.

"Didn't you just yell at me about us going late?"

"Shut up."

So we start walking to the main office and grab our schedules. After that we walk towards the buildings.

"What the fuck. Eight classes?!" She yells as staff look at us.

"Calm down. Let's just go." I pull her from the scene she just made.

"I have choir and band. What's your elective?"

"Same thing. It's that better we can just sit next to each other so we won't have to socialize."

"Yeah."

"See you at lunch?"

"Meet me next to that tree." She points to the largest tree next to the cafeteria.

"Okay. Bye." I said as we headed different directions since we are in different grades.

I'm walking down the empty hallway while listening to music.
"Oh hey. You must be our new student. Madison isn't?" The teacher says as I walk through the door. Everyone was staring at me, it's pretty annoying but I'm clrealy used to it.

"Yeah."

"We'll I'm Ms.Quin. Have a seat next to Brian."

I nodded and sat next to the kid she pointed to. I sat there quietly. I felt lots of people staring at me. It's creepy.

"Students take out your notebook and solve the problem on the board."

"Hey." I hear someone whisper to me but ignored it.

"Hey you." Again the whisper from the same person and I ignored.

"Hey. Quiet!" Ms. Quin exclaimed.

Eva's Pov.
I stood there next to the Engliah Class door.

"Hello there you must be Eva." The teacher said.

"Yes. I'm Eva."

"Class. Eva. Eva. Class and I'm Mr. Soto." He said as everyone nodded.

"So where can I sit?"

"All the way back there."

"Thanks." As I walked back there I felt a boy checking me out. I ignored it.

Madison's Pov.
* bell rang for next period *
9:13 am Text Message Recieved.
Eva : So how was it!?
Me : Boring, yours ?
Eva : Same.

End of convo.

* tardy bell rang *
This time I wasn't late but I still waited because I didn't know where to sit.

* skip to lunch *
I met up with Eva next to the tree and we headed towards the cafeteria.
"So how was it?"
"Fucking lame. Trust me. I fell asleep during second."
"Me too. I sat in the back corner."
"Totally off topic but have you seen any cute boys?"
"Duh. There's this boy in my third period. Holy jesus. He had a nice ass jawline but he didn't even acknowledged my existense. You?"
"One in my first period. His name is Anthony. He's like a hot geek. I don't know."
"Ooh. Any new friends?"
"Not really. All the girls look full of them selves and very rude but then again I can't judge a book by its cover."
"Yeah. Well I haven't made a friend. I don't really need one anyways."

*skip to end of school day *
"Hey wait up!" A boy running towards us yells as we walk outside of school.
"Um. Do I know you?"
"No but you seem pretty cool. Wanna go to a party at my friend's house on saturday? And maybe bring your sister too?"
"Um sure." I said with a confused face.
"Where at?" Eva said.
"Hold up. Here." He said as he gave us a paper with an adress and a time.
"We'll think about it."
"For sure."
"What's your name?" Eva asks.
"Wyatt
He left and we headed to where my mom was parked and got into the car.
"What was that about? A new friend of yours?" Mom asked.
"Um. Not really he just asked us to go to a party."
"And? What did you say?"
"We said we'll think about it."
"You guys should go. Get some things off your chest."
"You sur-". Eva got cut off by me.
"Yes. I'm going!" I yelled out.
"Don't worry. Just go."
"Okay mom." Eva said.

* skip car ride. *
Once I got home I ran upstairs and went on my laptop. I put music on my speakers and sang for hours.

8:48 pm.
*knocks*
"Come in." I say.
"So when's the party?"
"It says on Saturday."
"We have two days until then. I have nothing to wear."
"Same. Lets ask mom if we can go shopping?"
"Yeah."
"What do you think people are going to do at the party?"
"I don't know. Drink probably. He gave us a smirk when he asked."
"You're right. Are you going to drink?"
"Why not?"
"I'll let you this one time since we do have too much ok our minds."
"Thanks."
"I'll take a couole drinks but not too much."
"Yeah. Well I'm going to shower."
"Okay. Goodnight." Eva says as she leaves the room.

Nice to know school wasn't so bad. Let's see what else won't go so bad.
