Peters POV
The man in the office was instantly recognizable. Cali's dad. I curse under my breath as I see him through the window and I turn to walk away but he sees me.
"Peter!" He exclaims as though he has seen me everyday of my life.
"Daddy." I say with mock enthusiasm. "So great to see you again" then I laugh at my oncoming joke "it seems like it's been forever."
"Yes it does..." I see a flicker of a grin but his face hardens quick. I know I saw it though. "It's time to go." He says firmly. I shake my head
"I don't think so." Then I'm off, I zoom into math grabbing Cali and taking her with me. I don't know where. Right now, just anywhere but here.
Cali's POV
