Don't be alarmed
If you find me
Doubled over with
Laughter and tears,
Chasing an illusion
That's running away from me.
I know it's time to
Open up and free those prisoners
Buried in the sand
Next to my head,
But I keep procrastinating.
I think I am not ready for that yet.
Don't forget to
Sleep with the lights on
To scare the bogeyman away.
