Don't Give Up (Fem!Reader x Annie)

Okay, I know it's been a LONG time since I posted anything...but I'm gonna try and change that because I love everything about this website, you guys, the show/manga, and writing. As you all know I don't own any of this, but I do own the plot and I haven't read anything like this so I thought it'd be cool to make own like this.

      I shook with anger watching them destroy the walls completely and for the first time in over a century the towns had been exposed to titans without any protection to oncoming titans. Like dogs the noise attracted them to the humans and within minutes all you could hear was people screaming and crying for help; I did my best to rescue as many people as possible before I ran out of gas in my tanks. People hid in buildings, but with the Armored and Dancing titan buildings were destroyed and people fled. I saw a familiar light and then the rogue titan appeared, he let out a loud roar that shook the ground 'Be careful bun-bun' I thought to myself as I slowly stood up

"Yeager, get off your ass and come on!" Jean yelled swooping me up in his arms and carried me to the castle where most of the cadets were, filling their tanks and others. I filled mine and scanned the room for Mika, Armin, or anyone else from the Scout's, but just saw reds and greens

"Where are the others?" She asked placing her tanks back into the slots

"Sasha is still out there with Hange, fighting, Connie.." The boy looked down with his shoulders slumped in defeat

"We'll talk about it later, where's Mikasa and the others?"

"Probably by your brother. I saw Armin and Le-" the ground rumbled beneath us and caused us to be thrown up and back down like the first time Bertholdt had appeared and kicked in the gate. "ugh shit, what the hell was that?!" Jean groaned as we slowly stood back up and looked around, it took me a moment before I realized what was below us

"Annie, everyone get out now!" I yelled grabbing Jean's hand and we took off upstairs, trying our best to ignore the last rumble. I used my gear to get myself onto a roof, taking out a titan's arm before it was able to crush the building

"We need to focus on getting people out of here, they have Annie out now...they're unstoppable." I clenched my fists pulling out my swords

"I'm not leaving until these titans are destroyed. Do what you want Kirstein, but I'm not running away like a coward." I muttered glaring at him; we covered our eyes as Annie took her titan form

"I get it, you're pissed that your girlfriend or whatever she was to you is a traitor but risking your life right now is not helping anyone, now come on!" He ordered before leaving, avoiding Annie. I glared up at the titan who just stared down at me with those blue eyes, a small smirk appeared on her face before she tried swiping at me, but I ducked out of the way and followed Jean helping as many people as I could into wagon's

"Go to the forest of giant trees, hide and tie up the horses if you have to." I ordered the cadet driving, he nodded giving me a quick salute. I watched two Garrison soldiers fight titans going after the wagons but sadly they didn't make it

"There you are Yeager. Where's shitty glasses and the others?"

"Mikasa's with Eren, Connie is...well you know, Sasha and Hange are around...and Jean is helping Erwin get people out of here. The Garrison is down to what we have left sir." Levi let out a soft sigh and looked around at the ruins of our homes
