"Rory," Cal whispered into my ear. My squeezed my eyes together tighter and groaned.

"What do you want?" I said sleepily. I didn't know what time it was, but I was still too tired to get up. It was now March, but I still counted it as winter. The snow on the ground would not leave, and the cool winds kept me from leaving the apartment.

"Hello, Rory," he whispered again. I just grunted. He laughed at my response, then it was quiet for a few minutes. I thought he had gotten up and left, but that wasn't the case. A few minutes later I felt his fingers start to trace over my back.

I twitched at the sudden contact, but didn't move. His fingers were a bit cold. He ran his hands through my hair and down my spine. I grunted.

"Stop it," I muttered.

"Why?" He sounded amused.

"Because I'm trying to sleep."

"Oh, really?" He didn't care. I tried to ignore him and go back to sleep. I was almost gone when I felt his fingers trace over my belly and chest.

"Cal," I muttered. "please."

"Please what?"

"Stop, so I can sleep."

"Stop what?" He traced circles, and I frowned.

"I hate you."

"No you don't."

"Yes, I do. You're a nerd."

"That's rude." He then ran his fingers on my side. "Definitely not stopping now. You're skin is soft."

"This is why we can't have nice things," I grumbled sleepily. He chuckled and retracted his hand for just a second.

"That has no context here, Rory."

"You have no context here." He traced his hands down to the hem of my shorts I wore. "Now, you stop it. I will get Nick on you."

"That was a good one, Rory. Almost would have worked if Nick scared me at all."

"Then I'll get Trinity."

"Trinity's not here."

"You know what?" I shot up into a sitting position. The sun was in my eyes and my hair flopped into my face. "I'm up? Are you happy. Do you like causing me this much trouble." He was smiling his stupid, perfect smile.

"Yep, now get up."

"Why?" I whined.

"Because I'm bored. Let's do something." I leaned back on the pillows sleepily.

"We can do something in bed." He gave me a suggestive look. I blushed and hit his arm. "Not like that, nerd."

"What other fun things were to suggesting?"

"Sleep." I closed my eyes again. It didn't work since and shoved me back and forth this time. "Dammit, Cal. What do you want from me?"

"Let's do something today."

"We do something everyday. Today is a day for naps and pie."

"No. It nice out today, so we should go out."

"What part of 20 degree weather seems nice to you?" I mumbled into the pillow.

"The part where we can wear warm sweaters even with the sun shining as bright as it is right now. Eating warm food and drinking warm drinks."

"I hate winter."

"That's okay, get up." He pulled on my arm and I flipped out of bed.

"It's official, you hate me. Not sure what I've done to deserve this, but I apologize immensely." Cal rolled his eyes and told me to stand. I did as he said and stretched.
