Chapter 14

Ariana's POV

I opened my eyes slowly and struggling to fight against my sleepiness and laziness. I rubbed my sleepy eyes and yawned, I got up from my beds and looked around me.

It's normal that Justin didn't sleep by my side but it's weird that he wasn't found sleeping on the couch or even showering.

I left the room and went to downstairs, Pattie was seen sitting on the couch in the living room with some albums on her hand.

I smiled and wished her a good morning politely. She returned me the same as well.

I looked around the living room and questioned her curiously "Umm... Where's Justin?".

She rolled her eyes with a mischievous smirk "There's an urgent meeting from his company just now. He's about to come back anytime. You start missing him now?".

I blushed a little and tried to deny but I didn't, I chuckled and took a seat beside her "So, what are you looking at?".

She showed me a photo from the album with a huge smile "See, this is Justin when he's young. Isn't he look so cute?".

I looked at the fetus Justin with a mixed feeling, I nodded "Ya, he's so cute.".

She showed me some photos of Justin when he was young, she shared with me some of Justin's childhood story.

She kept flipping every page of the albums and telling me every story about Justin based on the photos.

I was stunned until I saw a photo, I stopped her from flipping to the next page, I questioned Pattie curiously with stuttering voice "Who is this? Er... Is she...".

She sighed and replied with an obvious disappointment "Ya, she's Xenia. This photo was taken when they both were in high school.".

Her voice was cracky and shaky, she didn't want to talk about her but my curiosity was killing me so I begged her to tell me more about Justin and Xenia's past and spilled the truth to me.

She took a deep breathe and started her story "Well, Justin has a normal life when he was young, we rarely spent time with him because of our work, his childhood life is suck, he used to cut himself when he was young, but everything changed until he met Xenia. Justin and Xenia were dating when they were in high school during their teenage year. Xenia was a good girl in that moment. He felt special and happy around her. However, they broke up in good term, Justin understood her but he still loves her. He wished that Xenia will come back to him one day.".

She added "Well, his wish came true and he turned into the happiest man alive in the world. Xenia was a good girl but at least that's what we assumed. They had dated for years after the reunion. However, in those few years, Xenia turned kinda weird, she started asking us a lot about our company stuff and economic stuff. We started suspected her but Justin had no clue at all.".

"Justin is not a big idiot, he's a smart kid, but we were so wrong, he's a big idiot, a Xenia's love sick idiot. He believed in everything from Xenia, he had his faith in Xenia, he gave Xenia his everything. Buying a mansion, fancy cars, luxuries for her but everything was registered on her name. Or maybe more than that...".

"One day, they both hung out to a hotel room. She wanted Justin to take her bait, she seduced him and they had sex. Justin is a famous businessman and he's always on paps' attentions. Xenia is an intelligent cunt, she hired paps and they dashed into the hotel room after getting Xenia's notification. She acted innocent and clarified that Justin was trying to rape her. She cried and hid behind a man who's her husband currently, the man was so mad and sued Justin for raping his wife.".
