The next day we got to go home with our baby girl. It took a little while for her to adjust but after some time, she relaxed. It was around 7:30 p.m. when she went to bed. I laid down and looked at my phone while Fitz took a shower. He got out 15 minutes later and laid down. "She'll be up every three to four hours. Do you want me to take her tonight?"
"Nah. It's bad enough you had to go through labor and everything. I'll take her tonight."
"Then rest babe. You'll need it."
"Only if you do the same."
I roll my eyes and turn out the lamp. I cuddle into Fitz and we both fall asleep.
