One year later
I look around at the group of soldiers around me, armed with their guns. I take a deep breath in, closing my eyes.
"Alright! We're heading out in 5! Get ready, boys. They're a hard fight." I hear Sargent Jackson say. I open my eyes and look at Cason, my friend. He nods at me, a sad look on his face.
"2 minutes, boys!" He shouts again. I look up at the sky, and feel a wave of protection fall over me.
"Forever yours, Jay." And I'm gone, out on the battlefield, continuing what Jay started.
