august's PoV

the reason why i texted aaleeyah to come back home was because i need to talk to her about earlier on. it was just awkward how she ended it with me. i mean one minute we're making love one day and kissing another. and then next, she's ending things with me cause she don't want our parents to know. like if i'm honest...... i can't have that. i mean like india and aaleeyah equally. and a nigga don't know what to do....

Aaleeyah's pov

after about 30 minutes, i finally arrived home after shopping and seeing august's text message. i drove up the driveway seeing another car parked up. and it wasn't my dads, it was probably india's. i mean it must be india's.....who else would have an expensive convertible car, except for me of course. i turned my engine off and took the keys out. i came out my car taking my phone and the shopping bags out after shutting the car door. i walked up to the front door shuffling in my pockets looking for my keys. i eventually found them and put the key in the key hole turning the keys round until the door unlocked     i sighed in relief walking inside the house closing the door behind me. as soon as i put my bags down, i could hear talking and laughing coming from the living room. i was a little confused so i decided to see what was going on. i walked in the living room seeing india and august holding hands together with my dad and his mom next together all in the couches with blankets over them. so I'm guessing they india and august broke up....... i thought they would. the room was a little dim and none of them could see me. so i just cleared my throat. they all turned looking at me

"oh hey sweetie. how was your day" Amanda waved smiling

"fine. thanks" i said bluntly

my dad smiled "oh you just missed the movie we were watching"

"okay...." i said in an awkward tone..... i didn't really know what to say

amanda sighed and shrugged looking at my dad. my dad looked at august raising his eyebrows. august looked up me. and i gave india a cold stare. she looked down playing with her fingers.

"that's no way to greet out guest aaleeyah" my dad said pointing at india

"yeah. hi india" she didn't say anything still looking down. i rolled my eyes crossing my arms

"i need some water"august stood up and left the living room going into the kitchen alone.

"yeah same"I said walking to the kitchen behind august

"um. what's she doing here" i asked rudely

"you remember my girlfriend right ? india? yeah, we're bonding with my family. is there a problem sister?" he said opening the refrigerator. I knew what he was trying to do.... tryna be smart with me. i just rolled my eyes.

"oh not at all "

"alright good. because this relationship is no longer going on with me and you" he said getting a water bottle out closing the refrigerator.

i laughed and shook my head "august.....we never had a relationship in the first place"

he rolled his eyes opening the water "well I care a lot about India. and I like her being my girlfriend. so you're off the hook now. you're free"

He grabbed a bottle drinking it. i didn't say anything i just looked at him.

"come on now august. don't act surprised. if you thought I was gonna come running after you, you should have thought again. what we did that night was a one off thing. as if I cared it happened...." I said confidently

" yeah yeah i don't care" he shrugged and closed the water bottle leaving the kitchen going upstairs. i sat on the side of the table putting my head in my hands......

india's PoV

so i haven't exactly told august about the pregnancy yet. and roland and amanda don't know either. i mean i've only met them once.  no one knows.... I'm really scared at this point because i don't even know if I want the baby anymore, august might not even want it. amanda and roland kept watching tv with each other cuddling and stuff. so now was the time to tell august. i got up quietly taking the blanket off me putting it on the couch. then i went upstairs to august's room. his door was halfway open and he was sitting on the side of his bed taking his shirt off. i went closer to the door and looked at him shyly. he looked up and smiled

"come in baby, sit next to me" he said

i went inside and sat on the bed next to him. he put his hand on my chin and lifted it up making me kiss him slowly. i let out a little moan. after i softly pushed him off after pecking his lips a few more times. i didn't wanna continue and lead him on before one thing lead to another and we had sex again.

"why you stop bae? don't you don't wanna? " he asked putting his hand in between my thighs rubbing it softly.

"august" I moaned. he kissed me again pushing me on the bed softly and slowly climbing on top of me licking my neck. he lifted my shirt up kissing my stomach a little. he undone my jeans and slipped his hands into my panties trying to put his fingers up my ...... you know what. i took his hands out of my jeans and sat up putting my shirt down

"seriously august. i don't want to okay..."

he looked a little upset but he nodded and stopped getting off me "what is it baby"

"i need to tell you something..." i said softly looking down. he sat up putting his shirt back on "tell me ma, is everything okay" he asked

i took a deep breath, my eyes automatically filled with tears. i shook my head as the tears fell down my eyes. he rubbed my back softly as i wiped my tears

"princess tell me. please " he said in a worried type of voice

"....i'm pregnant aug" i said sniffing

he stood up and crossed his arms walking around the room. "yo. are you serious"

i nodded holding my stomach "i took a pregnancy test....look. I get it if you don't want the baby. I can do this pregnancy on my own.....I don't want to get in between you and aaleeyah's relationship"

"me and Aaleeyah nothin. she means nothing to me okay. i wanna be with you. and she's my sister. and i wanna be in the baby's life" he said kissing my stomach softly

"thank you" i smiled

" of course" he kissed my cheek and we cuddled up together just talking.

aaleeyah's PoV 

i've moved on from August now. i don't need him. and i never will need him any time soon. like he said, he has India...... so why do i need to ruin something that i'm not even competing in.
