Sunset, Sunrise

In my heart, you will always brightly burn
I watched you, knowing that you may return
I'm saddened when you turned to leave
When you turn away, your warmth I can't receive
Lost to my eyes, no longer here
Things go dark, nothing is clear
I want to have you, embrace you, be near you
Without you here, I don't know what to do
I know you have no choice or say
But I wish I could finally have my way
I understand that you must leave me behind
Yet I still cry when it's you're light I can't find
One day you'll arrive to dry my tears
And to rid me of any of my fears
Shine bright like the sun by my side
Make it so no longer do I  have to hide
But nothing ever seems to last
And those memories fade to the past
As you must leave once more
And the light fades as you go out the door
