Is it sad to say
That this pain keeps me moving everyday
The pain reminds me I'm still here
The pain is what makes me see
The pain is what stays and can never leave me be
You may think the pain is bad
But really the pain helps me from going mad
The pain reminds me I'm still a girl
Trying to get through this messed up world
But this pain is not a cut or burn
This is where things take a dark turn
My pain runs deeper than the Grand Canyon
My pain bleeds through every crack of my heart
My pain never sleeps never rests
My pain will be here and put me through tests
My pain is no longer physical
But the pain is crying from being too emotionally deep
