My eyes widened, cracks echoed through the room as I watched the beams that fixed my house together break. I screamed:

"No. No no no. NoNoNoNo!!!!"

The cracking was already nearly drowning out my voice,

"MOM!!!!"

I screamed,

"DAD!!!!"

My parents ran to me, my dad stood in-front of me and my mom stood behind me. As we walked through the house I saw the house go from having a small crack to falling to pieces. As I ran I felt some rubble fly past my face, but puncture my ear. It felt like a bullet. I watched as the door came closer, soon we were standing in it.

"You go first! I'll be with you soon!"

My dad commanded me, I ran out with no hesitation and tired around, beckoning him out along with my mother. A wooden beam fell on his back legs and crushing them and immobilising him. I screamed, louder and more shrill than any scream I have ever screamed before. He was bleeding out, I felt something click in my brain as he nearly died.

"Run!"

My mom commanded,

"I'll met up with you soon!"

I hesitated, not wanting to leave her but wanting to run away and cry at the same time - but I did what she asked and ran down the to the entrance of the nearest alleyway. I waited for about an hour but when she came, I stood on the wall of the alley and jumped so I could crush her spine. After I did this I ran deep into the alley I hid in. When I got to the end I slumped, exhausted. After I got my energy back, I looked up and saw a flyer, it read:

The Rainbow Factory

Help required.
We will hire anyone as long as they will be willing to give up their life in the outside world.

'Help required, and hiring anyone, huh?' I thought 'I'll give it a shot then!' I got up and ran to the weather factory, and when I got close I heared some voices:

"No one is applying for the job!"

A raspy voice exclaimed, a deeper one spoke:

"Someone will, we just have to wait!"

This was it, my chance! I ran towards the voices and said:

"Hi! Your the managers of The Rainbow Factory, Right?"

They both nodded.

"Can I apply for the job there then?"

The orange pony spoke as his co-worker nodded,

"You can have the job now if you want!"

My eyes widened, and I grinned.
'The start of my knew life! Today is the day for change!' I thought as I excepted the place at the factory.
