16.06.15
it's been a year now.

i've been dragging my body the whole day.

but,

it's his birthday today.

i felt a sudden urge of happiness remembering his birthday.

lunch time came by making my blood rush as i walked out of the room to meet him.

fresh food served in the cafe.

nurses running to the rooms giving patients their lunch.

the waiting room is empty.

as usual.

going back here, savoring another encounter.

remembering the short meet ups here once a day.

i smiled remembering those moments with him.

he makes me happy, i guess?

helping me forget all the horrible things that have happened in the past.

walking in, i realized that i've came too soon. but it's okay.

it's my turn to wait.

i've waited around 30 minutes now.

where is he?

he's usually comes in 10 minutes after i do.

he hasn't shown his face yet and my food is getting cold.

i can't help but to ask the nurse.

'excuse me ma'am'

the nurse turned around with a small smile.

she must've remembered me from past meetings here when i ate here before.

she gave a small bow and a short 'yes?'.

'do you know where the boy i always eat here went?'

she looked confused for awhile as if she doesn't know what to answer.

but then she showed another smile as the words slowly glide out of the mouth.

a sentence i thought i will never hear.

'oh, that patient.'

end.
