Chapter 9: (y/n) gets hit on!?

You're walking home from school. The sky is clear and a gentle breeze blows through the streets. The air is filled with the voices of people chit chatting. Even though it such a perfect day, you have a look of irritation plastered on your face.

"Hey! Why are you walking so fast? Wait up!~" A guy, who's trying to catch up to you, shouts to you.

Hearing that made you pick up your pace instead.

You're in school. It's been a few days since you became friends with Saku on the day she transferred.

Apparently, she had some paperwork she needed to complete so she had to take a day off from school.

As you were heading to your class, a guy stopped in front of you. He had straight dark brown hair, hazel eyes and dressed in a smart casual outfit.

You ignored him and tried to walk pass him but he quickly grabs your hand.

You turn to face him and stare at him blankly.

"Do you need something?" You ask.

"Yes. Yes there is. I want you to go on a date with me." He smiles at you.

At this, other girls crowd around the both of you and started squealing. They squealed so loud you swear your eardrums were going to pop.

Fangirl 1:"KYAA!! IT'S YUUSUKE!!! HE'S SO COOL!!"

Fangirl 2:"I LOVE YOU YUUSUKE!!"

Fangirl 3:"OMG!! KISS ME!!!"

Then, one of the fangirls notices you.

Fangirl 2:"Hey, who's she?"

Other girls start noticing as well and start talking among themselves.

Fangirl 4:"Isn't she (y/n) from the digital animation course?"

Fangirl 3:"Who?"

Fangirl 5:"Y'know, that straight A student"

Fangirl 1:"So she's a nerd? Why's Yuusuke holding her hand?"

You start getting irritated by the chattering and asked this "Yuusuke" irritatedly.

"Who are you?"

He and his fangirls look at you in shock.

Fangirl 4:"How can you not know who Yuusuke is!? He's THE most popular guy in school!" she spoke in disbelief.

You think for a moment...

"Nope. Never heard of him."

"WHAT!!??" The girls shouted.

You look at this so called "most popular guy in school".

"Um...Can you let go of my hand now?" You point at the hand he's grabbing onto.

"Sorry, no can do. Not till you agree to go on a date with me."

"Why?"

"Cause you're cute"

His fangirls start screaming again but this time, in agony.

You shake his hand off.

"Sorry, not interested. Bye." With your face still blank, you walked off.

"Huh? Wait up!" He called out to you but you ignored him and went to class.

That didn't stop him though. He waited for you outside your classroom during breaks.
