Basking on the hill inside my dreams,
You bring a warmth to my world.
Making my skies sweet like tangerines,
You kiss like an angel to help me sleep in serene.
You're like a ruby in the light in a quest to escape the night.
You have an aura, like jade.
You're a love that will never fade.

You told me to be the one who stays,
The one you'll love all night.
You told me to be who I am,
The sunset's golden light.

But like the sunset you left me.
It was when I loved you most that you went away...
I was left to tears as you faded away.
Now I'm alone and crying away just like the moon.
I guess our love was like the day,
It ended with the sunset...
