A scream pierced through the darkness. She looked to see who it was, but realized the scream had been her own. She could feel the pain of unkown objects piercing her feet in the darkness, but she still willed herself to keep running.
She casted a glance behind her. She could just barely make out the shape of some kind of creature that was chasing her.
The woods were dark, the only light was the glow that the moon casted down. What had once been a place of peace and sanctuary now morphed into her own house of horrors.
Suddenly, she tripped...and fell...and everything went dark.
