It was aroung 11:57 when Dick was awakened by a series of knocks on his bedroom door. He groggily walked to the door and pulled it open to find his little brother, Damian in his pajamas.
"Good evening, Richard." Was all Damian said.
"What are you doing up, Little D?" Dick asked. Damian mumbled something under his breath. "What? I can't understand you." Dick said, confused, kneeling so he was in eye level.
"Nightmare." Damian said, looking at the ground. Dick's face lit up with understanding. "Can I sleep here tonight, Dick, please?" He asked, his eyes wide.
Dick smiled warmly and pulled the door open wider. Damian gave him a small smile and ran to the bed.
Dick slid under the sheets beside Damian, his little brother snuggling closer to him. Dick draped his arm around his little brother and kissed him on the forehead.
"Good night, Dickie."
"Good night to you too, Dami."
