I've been asked this question several times and my standard answer would be "My Mom". Of course, superhero talaga sya ng buhay ko. If it weren't for her, then I wouldn't be where I am now. I often wonder what sacrifices she would have done pa if she were still alive. Of course, there's also my Lola Linda. She took care of me when Mom passed. I was a teenager and losing a Mom at the age I was at was hard. Too much angst and all. But today, if you ask me again who my hero is, I'd definitely say it's Maine. So there, the top 3 heroes in my life (right now) are: my Mom, Lola Linda and Maine. Sila yung mga Supergirls sa buhay ko. Hero din sina Mama Ten at Daddy pero ibang level din.

"Why Maine?"

Why not? She's my everything. You see it naman on EB, diba? Although everyone on the show addresses me as "Alden", I am still "Rj". The one who sits at the panel during SB is "Alden" but all the reactions and dialogue are all me, Rj, Richard Faulkerson, Jr..

I hate it nga that we're apart lalo na pag dinudumog na sya dun sa baranggay. She's the only girl there and though she's surrounded by all these men whom I trust, Kuya Wally and Kuya Jose and the Rogelios, di mo pa rin maiiwasan yung pag-aalala ko. Di ko rin kasi masisi yung crowd. Pero....ay ewan! When I got news that she got mobbed or hurt, sinuntok ko yung pader! Grabe! Kung pwede lang ako lumipad pa-Baranggay that time, ginawa ko na. I want to protect Maine. I want to protect my baby, my love!

Kita nyo nga, when she's at Broadway and we go to the audience area, todo-alalay ako. I've told her that I'd be right behind her lang lagi. Kasi naman, sometimes, the crowd can get too overwhelming. I've learned to somehow shut them out at a certain point. Maine is so new to the business and it can get scary. We all know she's an introvert. Baka biglang mag-shut down din yan at i-shut out tayo...mahirap na.
