Chapter 2

A Week After That Conversation With Irene

  Luna's POV

      I was so exited it felt like I was going to burst! As soon as it had been confirmed that my family and I were going to England I raced to the computer. I logged into Skype and was thankful that Irene was online.

               "Hey Irene"

               "Hi Luna, what are you doing?"

                "Nothing, just packing."

                "Why are you packing? Are you moving?"

                 "NO, I'M GOING TO ENGLAND"

                "NO WAY, NO FLIPPING WAY! PLEASE TELL ME YOU ARE NOT JOKING! PLEASE! I WILL KILL YOU IF YOU ARE!!!"

                "I'M ACTUALLY GOING!"

                 "OMG! THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!"

  So, we spent the next few hours talking and getting our parents to talk to each other over Skype to sort out the details. Our flight was early tomorrow morning, and I packed everything I needed to show Irene. Books, figurines, drawings, candy, movies, everything. I was so exited.

    Early the next morning, after a sleepless night, we drove to the airport. I Skyped Irene while we waited for our flight, and soon it was time.

    It was a boring 9 hour flight. But I knew it was going to be worth it. I got off the plane with my parents, and looked around. I had no idea what time it was because of the different time zones, and I was tired. But I scanned the crowd of people waiting to see the ones who got off the plane. Immediately I saw Irene's orange/blonde hair,

  "IRENE!" I yelled running towards her. She turns and her eyes widen.

   "OMG LUNA!" she screams back. We hug each other and scream.

    "I AM SO HAPPY TO FINALLY MEET YOU!"

    "ME TO! YOU ARE SO MUCH SHORTER THAN I EXPECTED!"

   "AND I'M JUST GOING TO IGNORE THAT COMMENT BECAUSE I AM SO EXITED TO MEET YOU!" I finished. We looked around and everyone was staring at us.

    "What? You never met your best friend of like ever in real life for the first time?" Irene says to the people watching us. She turns back to me, and we both gasp. I realize how much we look alike. Same hair color, same blue eyes, same skin tone, everything about us is similar. It wasn't the glitch pixels that made us look alike, we actually looked like twins. And it was cool.
