it's borrowed time
not yours to give
not mine to take
don't give it a name
leave it be
happy as a newborn
still unidentified
innocent and free
the way we want to bewe're meeting half way
beyond moons and stars
out of orbits
out of mind
out of breath
and yet you keep pushing
oxygen
and parted lips let you
as broken sprouts
and galaxies mergermillions of eyes are watching us
dividing us into Venus and Mars
we can put on our sunglasses
and pretend to be someone else
as we dance to the sound of crashing down walls
