It’s gotten to the point where I’ve started
Mixing tea, instead of brewing it
Watching movies, instead of enjoying them
Staring at the stars, instead of wondering
Stepping on ants, instead of being mindful
Giving up, instead of pushing
Crushing roses, instead of smelling them
Sitting blindly, instead of asking,
Tossing and turning in my sleep, instead of thinking
Watching, and fading
Instead of living.
