Toms P.O.V
I heard a thud, the mumble of crying, hardly audible over the downpour. I sit up, strangely scared. I walk over to the window, the cold wind blowing against my hair, and the carpet seeping into my foots crevasses. She was there, the miraculous thing that happened, that was possibly the best happening ever. She was there, not over at her house, curled up in her room doing indescribable and mysterious things. But she was there.

Tight waist, her clothes clung to her soft clear skin, dripping wet hair, curling over her shoulders. Tears rolled out of her bejewelled eyes, almost glowing, a pained expression over her face. " I CANT DO IT!" She screamed, she pounded her fists into the concrete, the pinched stone digging into her hands, small holes releasing tiny drops of blood. God, we were both emotional wrecks.

"Y/N." I mumbled.
I ran, no obstacles just a destination. I ran to her. Her indescribable embrace awaiting for my retrieval. My feet pounded at the ground, Edd and Matt screaming to shut up, a slight look of annoyance spread across their faces. Zombie screams echoed throughout the house, the TV pumping the sound effects through its speakers.

I swung open the door, she was walking away, rain pouring over head like a sea of regret. I start walking over to her, my feet scratching against the sidewalk,  my hands cold, yet buried deep into my hoodie. I sigh, and just grab her hands, she quickly turns, pulling away from my grasp. She then gasps, and that expression, that pained expression was out from the depths of her heart again. It should have never been created my god! It hurts seeing that. Then again, a inexpressive time, sounds ceasing from existence, our vision almost enhancing. I could see every detail, the rain, slowly trickling from her long dark eyelashes, her eyes more noticeable, blurring any imperfection, even though there was not any. Then it just slipped from my mouth,

"I can't buy your love, don't even wanna try
Sometimes the truth won't make you happy
So I'm not gonna lie
But don't ever question that my heart beats only for you
It beats only for you"

I walk up to her, my hoody delicately placed over my tall hair. I grab her arm, and push her body against mine, holding both her hands. I start swaying my hips and dance a little, my feet moving left and right. Then she smiled, her eyes filled with stars, the rain somehow going away. A world filled with sunshine appearing, her smile lighting up the world. Her lips, a soft pink, then formed words, beautiful words, filling her sentences with meaning.

" I know I'm far from perfect
Nothing like your entourage
I can't grant you any wishes
I won't promise you the stars
But don't ever question that my heart beats only for you
It beats only for you"

She sang, a slow swaying of her hips forming. I smile, and we dance together , dance in the rain, the water splashing against our body. We were soaked, absolutely drenched, perhaps not in water, but in happiness.

"Cause when you've given up
When no matter what you do it's never good enough
When you never thought that it could ever get this tough!
That's when you feel my kind of love

And when you're crying out!
When you fall and then can't pick
You're heavy on the ground!
When the friends you thought you had
Haven't stuck around
That's when you feel my kind of love

You won't see me at the parties
I guess I'm just no fun
I won't be turning up the radio
Singing baby you're the one !
But don't ever question that my heart beats only for you
It beats only for you

I know sometimes I get angry and I'd say what I don't mean
I know I keep my heart protected far away from my sleeve
But don't ever question that my heart beats only for you
It beats only for you

Cause when you've given up
When no matter what you do it's never good enough
When you never thought that it could ever get this tough
That's when you feel my kind of love

And when you're crying out
When you fall and then can't pick
You're heavy on the ground
When the friends you thought you had
Haven't stuck around
That's when you feel my kind of love

Cause when you've given up
When no matter what you do it's never good enough
When you never thought that it could ever get this tough
That's when you feel my kind of love

And when you're crying out
When you fall and then can't pick
You're heavy on the ground
When the friends you thought you had
Haven't stuck around
That's when you feel my kind of love."

I just smiled and cried, unseeable tears, covered by the soft rain. I just stared at her happy face, stars almost appearing. She spun around as we held hands, almost creating a aquatic vortex.
"I like you Tom." She said. "I really do."
Her hands clutched tighter, the water almost taking her hands away from mine. But, we were stronger.

Your P.O.V
Love was a strange thing, these days the craziest and emotionally challenging thing ever, but it was all worth it. You pulled him closer, and wrapped your arms around him, feeling his cold hoodie pressed against you. "I like you too Y/N." He said. He hugged you tighter, the cold rain drenching you, the wind pressing the frost deeper into your skin. Yet you felt as warm as it was cold. You pulled away, a sudden urge, rising throughout your body.
You felt just like before, the door opening, welcoming you to the drunken gathering. Edd hugging you, you didn't actually mean to kiss Toms cheek, first time you've ever missed a target. But it wouldn't ever be the case again. You pulled him by the collar, his nose once again brushing against yours, a huge pink washing over your face. Tom was surprised, his eyes slightly wide. Then he smirked and raised his eyebrows. You smiled and pulled him closer. "Shut up." You giggled. You slowly pulled yourself in, and pressed your lips against his, a tint of blue washed over your faces, mixing with the blush returning to your face. You slightly opened your eyes, to find his completely open, absolutely gobsmacked. He ran his hands through your soft hair, matted and wet. You could taste his saliva, your tongues intertwined, a slow and relieving kiss, just perfect. You could taste the maple syrup, and you could feel his body relaxing. How complex it was, just that simple kiss. Nothing, could ever feel the same, it was a once in a life time feeling, a tingle sweeping over your body. It's like this moment of total admiration. Your heart stops and you just know that in that moment you're the only thing that matters in the entire world to him. It's incredible.
