He was devastated, in denial even. You couldn't be dead, he wouldn't allow it.
"[Y/N]." He whispers weakly. It wasn't fair; first Hiyori and now you. How much misery would Yato have to go through?
"I want to see you one last time. Please kamisama, anyone, hear my prayer. I want to see [Y/N] again. I'll do anything, just please, let them be alive again."
This phrase repeated over and over within his head. He didn't care what would happen if you came back to life, he just wanted you to be alive.
"If only I could've protected you. Why did I hesitate?" Scenarios kept forming but he didn't have an answer to any of them.
"I miss you so much." His sad voice fills the empty room with a depressed aura. You had died and there was nothing he could do.
