Phil awoke tied to a chair and heard the sound of uneven breathing and quiet laughter. He slowly opened his eyes to see Grace, looking bored out of her mind and flipping a knife amongst her nimble fingers. The small cackles appeared to be coming from her slightly open mouth. When she saw that Phil was awake she beamed. "Philly!" Grace squealed like a fangirl at a concert. "Oh my goodness, you're awake!"
While Grace was ballistic about Phil's consciousness, he certainly wasn't. Up until yesterday, (or what he thought was yesterday) Phil had believed that he was nothing more than a stain on the face of this very earth, but then Dan, kind, caring, beautiful Dan had ignored his fiancee for one glorious day. Phil had felt all of his emotions collide into a gigantic spiral of what could only be described as undying love, but now the only thing he felt was an overwhelming sense of dread.
"Well, aren't you going to say good morning?" Grace's eyes burned into Phil's flesh with expectancy.
"Hi," he squeaked.
Grace arched her eyebrow up so high that it was almost as if her eyebrow was trying to escape into the heavens. "You'll have to do better than that, Phil."
"Good morning!" Phil practically yelled. Anxiety is a bitch sometimes.
She nodded in approval. "Now," Phil watched as the silver blade flipped in between each of Grace's fingers and silently said a prayer to every god he could think of that she would stab herself. "I just want to make things clear: Dan is mine. You got that?"
Phil nodded.
"Good, cause if not you'd be dead right here and now. Anyway," Phil really wanted her blood to be spilt now. What a strange thought for Phil, you may think, but this used-to-be-little-ball-of-sunshine had been through a lot.
"I've seen the way you look at him," Grace continued, starting to pace. "You're gay, aren't you?" Phil opened his mouth to respond but she cut him off. "Well, I'm gonna change that. Soon, that little heart of yours won't fancy Dan, but me, and you'll suffer as you watch me marry my Danny." Grace laughed. "How? Well, turns out brainwashing is a genuine thing." Grace turned Phil to an old looking T.V. and put some sort of device onto Phil that held open his eye sockets.
"Have fun!"
Then she left.
Oooh, I bet you're just pissed! Well, welcome to the story. Do you guys have any theories of what will happen? Let me know. Have a jolly good day! (dramallamadingdong please don't kill me for that...)
