1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,... Nine fears and counting, I have listed in my journal. I will admit that I have made progress in overcoming them, but it seems that new ones decide to make an appearance now and again.
"Brinley, what was your answer for problem number 7?" I feel 21 eyes glancing back at me.
Right, I'm in school. It seems as though I was actually in space for a while there.
"Brinley!" The teacher repeats herself. Let me tell you, this woman is killing me.
"Ummm 2 radical 10?" I say, looking down at my paper.
I'll have to thank Sabrina for lending me her homework answers.
I can infer that Mrs.Hailey is about to have me explain why my answer is correct, when I'm saved by the bell.
Ahh, freedom for now. As I'm walking out to my car, my books are hit out of my hands. Real mature. Looks like my attempt at laying low and pretending like I don't exist, was a bit of a fail.
I don't even have to look up to see who it was: John Baker, aka #1 Douche Bag. Apparently breaking my heart wasn't enough damage for him.
"Watch out, you're in my way."Jerk.
I bend over to gather all of my books and let out a shriek as a bird lands right in front of me.
Number 6: Ornithophobia, fear of birds.
Quickly, I hurry off to my car in hope that no one saw...no such luck.
The ride home was quiet, just how I like it. I don't even have to look at my driveway to know that my mother isn't home. Nothing new there.
My street is usually pretty quiet, but that wasn't the case today. Mr.Friedman died a year ago and the house was recently sold. He was a strange old man; not the nicest either. Today must be move-in day for the new family.
I have two options: go home or introduce myself. This is where my trusty fear number 3 comes in clutch: xenophobia, fear of strangers. Yeah... I'm not introducing myself. Silly thought.
Dinner today is leftover Lasagna since I'm too lazy to actually cook. After dinner comes my routine FaceTime with Sabrina, to work on homework. Around 7:00, my doorbell rings. Wow, isn't that convenient?
I open the door with caution, and of course it's the family from next door. A girl who's probably a couple years younger than me introduces herself as Bella. Accompanying her is her father, Mr.Wright. I fake a smile, and act hospitable until they leave.
Honestly Mr.Wright was kinda attractive but I'm not into that whole dating some super old dad type thing. Not my cup of tea.
Thanks to this headache inducing encounter I decide to go watch Netflix in bed, slowly drifting into a deep sleep.

I think I'm going to use some of my photography for my headers, what do you think?
