''If I Stay"

The clock draws the minute man runs short I'm stuck on the long hour hand my time is coming up short never in my life did I think I would see me in a coffee fast asleep or my parents die so young could I prevent my brothers passing with a shot of a gun ? (I wrote this by myself you like my little poem)??

Mia Hall thought the hardest decision she would ever face would be whether to pursue her musical dreams at Juilliard or follow a different path to be with the love of her life, Kevin. But what should have been a carefree family drive changes everything in an instant, and now her own life hangs in the balance. Caught between life and death for one revealing day, Mia has only one decision left, which will not only decide her future but her ultimate fate.

At 26 Ludwig van Beethoven went death changing is career from a successful concert pianist but did not stop him from making music he decided to become a composer which worked out better for him in many ways you know the old saying 'life is what happens when you're to busy making other plans'

Take my dad for instance when my little brother teddy was born he gave up being in a band to get a real job which he soon fell in love with teaching he spends most of his days in a crusty old highschool teaching English classes

My mom too she was a riot gm who is now a travel agent and a full time super mom she only spends time with teddy

"Scooch over dude." Teddy said to me

Then there's me I thought I had myself all mapped out but I guess I wrong

"Here's your coffee maestro." My mom said to me handing me my coffee

"Hey, I want some too." Teddy spoke

"No way did you don't give crack to someone who's already on speed." I said he was hyper

"Don't worry we switched him to decaf." Mom whispered to me

"As long as you didn't switch me." I said seriously

"No hunny I would never that would be child abuse." Which caused me to chuckle but it died down when my mom decided to mention the person I haven't heard of in so long

"Hey did you see this I got a google alert its the most I've seen of him in months." She said all sad

"I know." I said nonchalant

"Oh my god is he really playing for Chris Brown?" Dad asked I rolled my eyes

"Yeah when they play in new York tonight." I said "its kinda crazy everything he wanted actually came true." I smiled

"Look I know you guys haven't talked to much lately but-."

" mom I really don't wanna talk about it okay. " I said

"I'm just saying if you miss each other its okay to reach out." She said

"Okay!" I said getting irritated

"If you guys want a ride we have to go now." Dad said jiggling his keys

The radio spoke softly

"Honey turn that up."

"Now with the snowstorm and school closures." "Port is now calling for snow days."

"Yas that means no school today kiddos." Dad spoke over the radio

"Well ain't that a bitch." Mom scoffed

"Schools out forever!!" Teddy yelled

"Did you really just quote Alice cooper." Mom asked

"Teddy have I taught you nothing." Mom said

"Let's go make snow monsters." Teddy suggested

"We could but it looks like the snow isn't really sticking out there." Dad mentioned

"You guys are all playing hooky without me." My asked

"Its not hooky its a snow day." Dad said

"So not fair." Mom pouted

"Life isn't fair."

"Good point, but sometimes you gotta push it a little bit I mean I can't go to work with this cough." She said fake coughing making a phone call to call into work
