It is a “Get-together” Christmas for my fourth-year high school section. :) We have it in my best friend’s house, outside. It is already late when I arrive…

“Oy, best! Pahingi tubig? May tubig ba? No alcohol! >:|”

He gives me a glass of nestea? Only for me to find out that there was something there. TSS— I didn’t say a word. Instead…

“Dan, hatid niyo ako.

“Clarisse, uwi ka na? Mamaya na.” That is Rina, my other best friend.

Oo nga. Ba’t ka ba uuwi na?” Melissa, my other best friend. They are my two girl best friends in our section.

“You know darn well why I want to go home. Tara na kasi. Hatid niyo ako. If not, I’m going home alone. Bye.”

Yeah, I was pissed. It goes deep down to trust. I hate the fact that he told me that there’s no something in that drink. Damn it. I’ve got to get home before I actually come face-to-face with him ‘cause I’ll surely blow up and shout. Dan, Rina and Melissa know me too well and they know that I really have to go.

“Tara na nga. Hatid ka na naming. Paalam muna tayo” – Dan

Kayo na lang. I’ll walk on ahead slowly.”

They said goodbye to the others. I think they are asking why I was going home already when I just got there, and I’m sure they’re making excuses for me. Thanks!

“Dito na lang. I’ll go on ahead. Babalik pa kayo dun?”

“Oo. Bakit?” – Melissa

“Pakibigay na lang ‘to sa kanya. I don’t want to talk to him.”

“Alright. Bye!” – Dan

Tristan became my best friend when we were in third year high school. But we were already close on second year. Whenever we’re together (not always, ‘cause he has a girlfriend #MyFriend), he always tease me and I’ll just laugh or sometimes I’ll get annoyed. But that was how we were. We don’t do those serious talks and when we do, I always end up lecturing him or telling him that it was his fault that Rain’s mad at him.
