A boy- who was probably not much older than me- stood behind me. He was wearing nothing but dark jeans, black combat boots, a black t-shirt, a leather jacket, and a red beanie. In different words, he was kind of a cute guy, but something about him seemed odd. Like the kind of off you might feel when you think someone is staring at you but then you look around and see no one. It's that kind of odd.
"Done checking me out?" The boy- said with a wolfish grin. "Or have you just never seen a guy as handsome as me?"
Quickly I snapped out of thoughts and replied back.
"Matter of fact, I was not checking you out and I've seen better than you," I said with a smirk and zipped up my red hoodie.
"Lies, but then again I wouldn't expect lies coming from one of you," He said as if I somehow disgusted him.
"What do you mean by 'One of you'?" I ask confused.
"You're one those snobs who think that everyone in the woods are some sort of big bad wolves," He said with an eye roll.
"Well some might be, I might be," He said with a smirk. "The name is Andrew. Andrew Wolfton."
I stared at his hand that was outstretched towards me and then back to him. He quickly got the hint and pulled his hand back.
"Don't worry, I don't bite," Andrew said with a smirk. "And what would your name be?"
"I am not telling you my name," I said with annoyance clear in my voice as I remembered that I still had to go to my grandmothers and then make sure I was back at school on time. "Now if you excuse me, I have to get going."
And with that said, I turned around and started walking further along the path.
"What's the hurry?" Andrew said as he jogged up beside me.
"That is none of your business," I said with a sigh and started to walk faster.
Please just go away, please go away!
"Just wanted to know where such a cute girl was heading to make sure she doesn't run into any trouble," Andrew says with a grin.
"Trouble like you?" I say back.
"Now, now, I may probably be from the woods, but I'm not trouble," Andrew said as he put his hands up in a surrender position.
"Maybe a thief actually." He said and held up the black box Principal Mendes handed me for my grandmother.
"What?" I say in shock and take my bag off my shoulder to look inside. Once I open my bag up I see that the box and brownie are no longer in there. "Listen, I don't know who you are, or what you want, but I would really like it if you handed me those."
"What's in the box?" Andrew said curiosity and shook it a little. A sound came from it as the object inside hit the box. "Best guess is jewelry or a trinket."
"Just hand the dumb box over," I said and waited as he placed the box into my palm and I put it back inside my book bag. "And can you please give me back the brownie? It's for someone, and no it's not for you."
"Why not?" Andrew asked with a raised eyebrow.
Zayumm... He looks cuter with that eyebrow...
No! Snap out of it Ro, he is just a thief and he would want something in return.
"On the contrary, can I at least keep this brownie?" Andrew asked with a raised eyebrow. Before I could even answer he starts to open it and takes a huge whiff of it. "Mmm... The smell of chocolate with a hint of chloroform."
Wait what?
