Gathering together, as well all fall apart.
World's ending, screams deafening defeat.
Tell me that it doesn't hurt,
Tel me that we're going to be fine.
As worlds collide and gun shots burning
Everything falling down,
Into place,
And we pray.

Words of wisdom and sophistication
Raining down on thee,
Telling everyone that we'll be fine.
But it was an outrage,
Broken and disturbed,
Tell me the truth, now.
Screams of protest, hands holding,
Helping in many ways,
And we pray.

Letting all our feelings out,
Hoping one day we'll grow old,
Remembering this as a lesson.
Watching horrors and learning of pain,
Trying to block out the bad,
Bring in the good,
So we pray.
