Stiles

The sun shone gently on my back as I navigated my way through the busy streets of Central city, map in my hand. Yes I use a map, Yes  I am aware that I could use my phone.

Hi my name is Stiles Stilinski and I run away from my problems without facing them! You see, personally I'm a fan of ignoring a problem until it just eventually... goes away...

I left my home, my family, my friends behind, all because I couldn't deal with it any more.

I'm a selfish son of a bitch.

I guess killing Donovan tipped me over the edge. Tore my already shredded mind into pieces and left me without my brother.

Scott. He didn't know I was gone. He probably wouldn't care either way. He thinks I'm a murderer now.

I'm not. I swear to god I'm not.

Am I?

I'm so lost in thought that I don't see the man headed straight for me, and I crash into him, sending my coffee and maps onto the floor.

Way to go Stiles.

"Shit!" I cried, not even looking up at the stranger.

"My god I'm so so sorry." Fumbling hands reached down and helped me pick up my maps. My eyes couldn't help but travel upwards at the sound of his voice. "I'm so sorry, I'll buy you another coffee... I'm so sorry."

My eyes found a matching beautiful face to the beautiful voice. His eyes stared down at me worriedly, and his mouth was parted slightly in a worried frown.

"It's ok..." I was speechless, breathless even. "It's ok, don't worry."

"Are you lost?" He handed me back the map, kind eyes searching my face.

"Kinda yeah, I'm looking for CCPD? I just got a job there..."

"Well that's a coincidence! I work there!" The man's smile was so kind, I couldn't help but smile back. "Allow me to walk with you?"

"Thank you very much."

"It's the least I can do after spilling your coffee everywhere." He laughed. "I'm Barry Allen."

"Stiles, Stiles Stilinski." I shook his hand. It was warm and friendly, like his eyes.

"Is that your real name?"

"Nah, my real name is weird so they let me pick a new one. Turns out I picked one that was still pretty weird."

Barry's laugh was a really beautiful sound that I wouldn't be able to get out of my mind. "What's your real name?"

"Steady on, cowboy, buy me dinner first."

Barry blushed at this, and I mentally slapped myself for saying something so stupid to a stranger that clearly wasn't used to the Stilinski personality.

"No but seriously, a girl's gotta have her secrets." I winked at Barry, and he blushed again.

"Ok then, Stiles, but I'll get it out of you one day."
