Second Date

Hazel, Esmay, Will and Max are back out for dinner, and having a wonderful time. When Will is the one who decides to finally say something;

Will; Anna didn't have to return the clothes you know, they were a gift

Hazel; that's our Anna, she thought it best there were no loose ends.

Esmay; she couldn't live with herself if they thought she stole from them, and just took her for a ride

Max; they're not like that. They was really cut up when she left

Hazel; sure they lost they're sex toy

Will; were serious, they look broken men. They didn't come into work for days and when they did they looked like they hadn't slept the entire time. They really miss her

Hazel; then why was they about to break up with her, saying 'We've really enjoyed having you here but the thing is'

Max; no no they was trying to tell her how they felt, but wasn't sure if she could handle a real relationship with both of them or shed run for the hills

Esmay; but when she told them she had kids she said it looked like they wanted to run for the hills which just made it easier for her to leave

Will; yeah I bet it was real easy for her to leave! I thought she felt something for them like they had something special, and they wouldn't run for the hills they love kids and thought they would have some of their own by now, it just hasn't happened yet.

Hazel; it wasn't easy for her to leave, it broke her heart and she cried for days, she tried to cover it as usual but we know her better than she thinks and we could tell

Max; wait wait wait are we all saying the fact that.........she wants them, and they want her? But at the moment of confession everything goes wrong?!

Esmay; yes of course! They struggle to get their words out unsure of her feelings, she panics that their trying to let her down easy and jumps the gun!!

At that we all sit up realising what must be done, we have to somehow fix this, first by talking to Jasmine and Levi, then to Henry and Matt and then confront Annabelle.

Hazel; we have no time to waste, its been two weeks since she left. it's nearly the 13th and you know how she gets directing her comment at Esmay who nods

Will; what's with the 13th??

Esmay; if this works you'll soon find out

Leaving in a hurry they arrange to talk with Jasmine and Levi the next day at Will's house while Annabelle is at work

Hazel; we all need to talk

Jasmine; yes we do, moms a wreck! She cried for days she's normally so controlled with her emotions

Levi; it's not just that, she's different somehow. Like when she's cooking, she's singing and bouncing on her feet. She hasn't done that since..........

Jasmine; she talks to us a lot more about deeper stuff than she did before, I catch her sometimes smiling to herself playing with her hair or touching her lips, when I ask her about it she just replies 'memories'

Esmay; we know she was falling for Henry and Matt and all be it a little unconventional, we haven't seen her this happy in a long time

Will; the same with the guys, they've had their fair share of fun, but nothing like their time with Annabelle. We knew she was something special the way they changed around her

Max; they were constantly smiling at work having a joke with the employees and couldn't wait to get back to her, they fell for her hard and didn't want to scare her into it being a long term relationship and what that would mean. Since she left they've been angry, snapping at people going home and getting drunk. We've found them asleep in her bed covered with her clothes

Will (coming back into the room); I've called them and their on they're way

Upon arriving they're (Matt & Henry) shocked to see so many people people here, along with two new faces

"What's going on?!"

Jasmine and Levi slowly walk over to them unsure of their reaction

"I'm Jasmine"

"I'm Levi"

Holding out their hands for Henry and Matt to shake, but they just look at each other then back to Jasmine and Levi who are now stood there with a slight worried look on their face, then suddenly each of the men grab them in their arms for a huge hug and start laughing

"It's so nice to meet you both your mom is a real special person"

Finally releasing them to see a relieved look on their faces

Levi; Yes she is. And that's we're here

Jasmine; We know how you feel about her, and we know how she feels about you. That day you couldn't get your words out she panicked thinking you didn't want her, so she decided to beat you to it and leave on her own accord

Henry; But we thought.........when she told us she had children we tried to tell her we didn't care it just made it even better for us

Matt; That it was now like she seemed to have the whole package.........but she cut us off

Levi; We know, it's just the way she is. She's been through a lot and focused all her time and energy into raising us, always putting herself last, always thinking no man would be interested in her and what the society labels as 'baggage' but we all have some somewhere along the line, right?

Henry; there is no way we could view a woman having kids as 'baggage' we'd love to have kids

Levi; oh. (looking at his sister as she has the same expression)

Matt; what? What is it?

Jasmine; the thing is, she was lucky to have us in the first place, the chances of her being able to............

Levi; there slim to say the least. If you want to be with her, that's just something your going to have to come to terms with

Will; but that's not even an issue right now, we think you should tell her how you feel, properly this time.

Max; Will you at least think about it?

They look at each other and slowly nod
"Of course, we'd do anything to have her in our lives again"

Everyone sits down with some coffee and chat more until realising the time,

Jasmine; she'll be home soon we better get going.

Henry; don't say anything until we can think of the best way to do this ok?

Levi; ok.

Walking off he whispers to his sister
"they better hurry, tomorrow's the 13th"

but it wasn't quite quiet enough to escape the eager ears of Henry and Matt, who can't help but wonder what they mean?? Right now though they have more important things to think about and discuss together.
But they both know deep down inside they've already made up their minds, they want Belle with them, no matter what. Anything else, they will deal with when it comes up.
Right now they minds are whirling and have a lot to sort out
