Emily Gilinsky is Jack Gilinsky's little sister and both are doing a musical together. Emily has just finished up her last year of middle school and is going into high school as to where her brother has just finished up his first year of college and is interning at this acting camp that she goes to during the summer for a little bit of June. They both have to learn how to get along with each other when Emily is casted as Ariel and her brother is casted as King Triton and he does everything to make her not fall for the lad that's playing Prince Eric.
