Emily was in the middle of working her summer camp job. She worked as an intern at a musical theatre camp there she met a boy named Jackson who'd she been in previous shows with. Jackson and Emily had previously dated two years prior. Emily had no clue she was about to meet the boy of her dreams, Duncan.
Jackson one day brought his best friend to work with him and introduced him to Emily. The first words Duncan said to Emily were "You have a pussy right? So you've seen the Notebook?" To which she replied with "No, I actually haven't" and a small giggle. Duncan and Emily then exchanged snap chats and fell into being best friends.
Duncan wanted to come see the show that Emily and Jackson were both in so Emily told him the details. When Duncan really was just going to see Emily.
Later that Saturday night, Emily had no clue what Duncan was about to tell her on FaceTime.
"I like you." Duncan told her.
"I like you too." She replied back.
The two were madly, deeply in love with each other until some things took a turn for the worse...
