Politics
There are people who run the country
Every street, every town and every city
The fight for power in secret
But I think they've quite forgotten about keeping itWomen or men, young or old,
Want to achieve power, so they do as they're told
They attend debates to drag their fates
While in one's head, he would be to dictateAll would to anything to win
So they could rule the place and have everything
And when they do, necks are roped with strings
Then wrapped around their fingers, poor beingsIn the city lights, lie people, cunning or not
Plotting their plans, to rule or to rot
With power to rule, to rule with power
Time ticks and knocks down hoursBehind the flashing smiles and the blinding lights
Each has a secret or thousands behind
But look closely and listen carefully
Because you are to choose who deserves the seats rightfully- BriPerrLerr, Gwen
