Mitchell walked into the house "Welcome Home Lexi" Mitchell whispered to his daughter who lay asleep in his arms. "Mitchell" Annie squealed
"Shh! Annie" Mitchell said showing her his sleeping daughter
"She's beautiful Mitch, George get down here, where is Alyssa" Annie replied
Mitchell smiled weakly "she is gone Annie"
Annie gasped "I'm so sorry" she said
George came running down the stairs "hey dude, so let's see the little beauty" he said smiling widely, Mitchell smiled back and handed Lexi over to George "where's Alyssa" George asked
Mitchell shook his head a tear falling down his cheek "she didn't make it"he whispered, "but the least we can do is make Lexis life a great one" he finished
