'The relationship between Haruhi and Arai seemed friendly enough, but why did Hikaru get so jealous?' I pondered.
Suddenly, a knock on the door startled me.
"Who is it?" I cautiously said.
"It's me, Kaoru. Can I talk to you [Y/N]?"
With Haruhi sleeping across the room, I slowly made my way to the door. Once upon opening, I quickly placed a finger on my lips and pointed to a knocked out Haruhi. Kaoru nodded in understanding as I lead him outside the room.
After slowly closing the door, I faced Kaoru with confusion.
"So, what's up? Is there a rea--"
"I need you to help me set up a date between Hikaru and Haruhi."
???
"Wait, me? Why?"
I knew Kaoru and I weren't as close as he was with Haruhi, but asking me was simply out of the question.
"Look [Y/N], I need a girls' input on the situation at stake. Your help will seriously ease the tension between the two."
It couldn't hurt to try, right?
"Sure, I've been thinking about the situation earlier. Nice knowing you care for the both of them." I smiled.
Kaoru nodded knowingly and we discussed plans for the date tomorrow afternoon.
