Chapter Two~Present Day

   "I'm home!" Hunter yelled as she entered the home that became hers a few years ago after the accident. "Oh, finally I was getting worried! Just kidding." Said Alice, her cousin. "Love you, too, Alice!" Hunter replied to the comment.
That's how it was at the Bishops residence. Rude remarks. Being pushed around. Treated like a lower class citizen. But that was normal.
"Oh finally sweety! I need you to unload the dishwasher for me!" Said Aunt Charlotte. "I got my report card today, if you cared..." Hunter mumbled. "Oh good!" Aunt Charlotte says as she grabs it out of Hunters hand and rips it open. "Not the best..." Aunt Charlotte says. "You failed science, again?! You really need to improve your skills! You can't stay stupid forever!" Says Alice as she looks over her mom's shoulder. "Be nice, Alice! If she had more support she could get good grades! Well, you need to learn to be smarter like Alice! She's an all B student!" Says Aunt Charlotte. "Whatever!" Hunter says as she walks to the kitchen to put away dishes from the dishwasher.
Maybe you should be smarter, like Alice. Hunter mimicked her aunt in her head. Hunter finished the dishes and went to her room. As she entered her room, the first thing she saw was the photograph that got taken outside a museum of her and her mother a year before the accident. Hunter sat on her bed and picked up the photo. "I miss you mom..." she put the photo back next to her bed. She cracked open the window and took a deep breath of the warm spring air. If only she was here to see me now.. she sighed and laid back on her bed, You'd be proud of me, mom...
