Aph's POV:
I didn't know that it was Aaron who smashed Gene's phone. I didn't even know who was behind that door. All I knew is that there was a connection between us; something special, really special.
I had handled the Gene situation better than I thought I would. I was scared, not of him, of the person behind that door. That random person that I spilled my feelings out to.
He could hurt me.
I knew it was a "he" because of their voice and the way they said things. He sounded like he cared. Like he really cared, like he meant it.
"Aphmau!" Laurence said all of the sudden.
"Y-yeah!" I jumped at my loud voice.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine..."
"O-okay..." He mumbled, "I have to get to practice, bye Aph!"
"Bye," I mumbled.
Garroth's POV:
I was walking into school this morning when Gene stopped me.
"Hey'o Garroth."
"Hello?" I was confused and startled about him talking to me.
"Have you heard of Laurence and Aph...?"
"What?" I was nervous.
"Here, buddy, let me show you."
He pulled out what looked like a picture taken from a Polaroid.
My eyes widened, I didn't know what to say.
"After your kiss, I really figured you would work out..."
Gene started to laugh.
I stormed off.
