Chapter Two: Friends and Platform 9 3/4

James grinned as he entered the platform. The lagre crowd of families, the rumbling of hundereds of voices, the small amount of space for moving around; James had missed it. His eyes scanned the area for his friends. Someone, any one of them, he just wanted to see them.

A group of students with all different nationalities stood in a large group. They appeared to be about his age, though he had never seen them before. He edged closer to the group of about twelve. Were they even speaking English?

"Amelia?" one of the voices asked. A girl with dirty blonde hair in ringlets spun on her heal to see who had called her.

(1) "Oui?" she replied, blinking up at a woman who looked almost exactly like her.

"Je t'aime."

"Je t'aime, Maman!" then 'Amelia' turned back to her friends.

Lily jumped up behind James, "Whatchya lookin' at, big brother?" she asked, her eyes wide while she stared eagerly up at him.

James glanced down at her, "Nothing. Why?"

Selena grumbled.

"Oh, stop your whining, Sel, it's just that no one wants to hear about the--"

"Yes they do!" Selena argued, a pout on her face.

Scorpius frowned. "Shut up, please? I'm thinking."

"About?" Selena asked.

"James lost a bet to me over the summer, so I need to think of something for him to do."

Selena frowned, "Why not have him give you money?" she suggested.

Scorpius shook his head, "We agreed no money."

"Make him wear a dress during one of his Quidditch games!"

"Sofia, that is the best idea I have ever heard!" He pulled a sickle from his pocket and handed it to her.

Sofia beamed, "Thank you!"

"No problem," Scorpius replied, walking ahead of the two once he spotted Trinity.

"Scorpy!" Trinity grinned, glomping (2) him. Well, almost glomping him. She didn't have quite enough force to knock him off of his feet.

"Oof!" She still had enough to make him loose his balance and have to take a step back to regain it. "Hey, Trin."

She pouted, looking up at him, having not yet removed herself from him, "Just a 'hey, Trin'? No heart warming reunion?"

"Nope."

"Why are you so mean to me?"

He shook his head, a slight smile on his face. "I'm not. A heart warming reunion isn't needed. We hung out last week."

She stepped away from him and crossed her arms over her chest, "That was a whole week ago!"

Emily snorted at the two, finally making a noise, "Having a lover's spat?"

"Oh, like you and James haven't?" Trinity retorted, turning to face Emily.

Emily blushed, unable to form a complete sentance. Eventually, she settled on saying, "But you didn't demy it!"

Trinity's reply was out of her mouth in seconds. "Neither did you."

"You suck!"

"I do."

Scorpius cracked up at the last remark.

"You're such a pervert! Both of you!" Emily huffed, looking as if she was about to stomp her foot like those girls in Hollywood movies.

James finally made an appearance in the group. "I'm the master at being a perv, as of this morning!" he declared, flashing the other three a toothy grin.

"...I doubt that," Trinity said finally, breaking the silence. Or as silent as you could get in a train station full of parents wishing their children a wonderful school year.

Scorpius glanced at the large clock. "We should probably board the train soon... we only have ten minutes until it leaves."

Emily sighed, "I should probably go say good bye to my grandmother."

Trinity grabbed Emily's arm, "May I come with?" she batted her eyelashes.

"Sure..."

"Awesome!" she yelled, "I love your grandma! She's bloody crazy!"

Emily shook her head, shaking Trinity from her arm. "Mm, but she hates you. She said, 'That girl's too bloody loud!'"

"What?!" Trinity exclaimed, but the rest of their conversation (fight?) couldn't be heard through the rumble of the crowd, which was now thinning out as students got on the train and parents edged closer, bidding their final  "Good bye!"'s and "I love you!"'s.

                                                                              ~_-_-_-_-_~

"I can't believe she hates me!" Trinity cried loudy as the group moved down the corridor, looking for an empty compartment. At this point, they had waited too long to get on the train and get good seats.

"And that's why!" Emily replied, sliding open a door to reveal an empty compartment.

"Finally!" James ran into the small compartment and launched himself onto one of the seats, landing on his stomach.

Emily sat down in the corner by James's feet. "Move it, git!" she shoved his legs off of the padded bench. He whined in protest, but after a few minutes of shifting himself around, he was in a sitting position, his head against the window.

"He's already asleep?" Trinity frowned at James, "Even I can't do that."

Scorpius stretched, closing his eyes, "It's not... all that... hard..."

"And he's out too," Trinity mumbled, her eyes drifting over to Emily. "You too?"

Emily had her head rested against James's shoulder, and James had his head leaning against the top of Emily's. "Aww," Trinity smiled slightly, falling into a deep sleep herself.

The group of four was completely out, which was when Lily slid the glass and wood door open, grinning and pulling out a newly enchanted (by Selena) iPod Touch fourth generation, snapping a picture.

So, good? Bad? Tell me what you think in the comments! Anyways, sorry for the wait!

I feel like this chapter has way too much dialogue... >.>"

I already have chapter three written, I just have to type it. I'll try and have it up tonight and get to work on chapter four. I really want to finish this book before New Years.

(1) Sorry if my French isn't the best. Translations:

Oui- Yes

Je t'aime - I love you

Maman- Mom

(2) When you get glomped, you don't have to be knocked to the ground. That would hurt a lot. But for this chapter I said you did. But you really don't have to be knocked to the ground.

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter or Apple!

Peace. Love. Anime.
