Chapter 3~ Rainy Day

~Mark POV~
"Come on, it's this way!" Says Enis, excitedly leading us to the house he was talking about. He almost falls off a cliff, but I pull him back by his suspenders. "Watch where your going, Enis." "I remember this ledge being bigger... anyways, the house is just down there." He says, pointing to a large looking wooden cabin. "Alright, let's get going then. The sun is gonna set soon." We head down the hill, nothing of interest happening. Once we get down, we look inside. Not seeing the werewolf, we go inside. Enis looks for bedrooms while me and Dodger look for food in the kitchen. Thankfully, none of it's expired. "Uh, guys? We may have a problem." "What is it, Enis?" "There are only two beds, and one is a kids bed." Oh, great. "Well, you boys can sleep together, I'll take the kids bed, have a nice night, Mark." Dodger states as she walks to the kid's room. "Hey, why do I have to sleep with Enis!?" "You're both guys." She closes the door to the bedroom. "Well, I guess we should make the best of it, right Mark?" I don't answer as I begrudgingly head to the room. "Stay on your side of the bed, Enis."
~Time Skip to later that night~
I wake up to sobbing and see Enis sitting up, his head in his knees. "Enis? What's wrong?" He simply points at the window. Great, thunder, lightning, and rain. Wait, rain! I quickly hug Enis reassuringly. "Hey, it's okay. It won't get in, don't worry, you're okay." I try to calm him down, and eventually he falls asleep. I lay him back down and get back to sleep myself
~Another Time Skip~
I wake up again, morning this time. I feel my face heat up as I realize my arm is around Enis. I try to pull it away, afraid of what he'd think, but his arms are holding it in place. "Um, Enis...?" I shake him awake, his entire face turning red. "S-sorry..." I smile. "It's okay. Do you feel better?" "Yep!" "Good. Come on, let's go bug Dodger until she makes us bacon." He smiles, a bit of pink tinting his cheeks. "Okay."
